I’ve ceased blogging for a long time and in fact the reason why I came back to this blog was because I was testing out some code and functionalities for my website work. However, j1m0ne pointed out that I have google reader subscribers and I feel sorry if you suddenly got notified that I posted a new “post” but in actuality all I did was some testing. So in any case here’s some rambling for you to read.

My interest has taken a big big change since I last blog. I still watch anime but not frequently anymore. Instead I only watch funny gag shows like Mitsudomoe and K-on to entertain myself after a hard day at work.

I still support Minorin but lately she has been releasing nothing but singles that made me feel I am wasting my money if I order them. So Minorin, please go back to your Paradise Lost period. Your new songs simply suck.

I’m an avid Toyosaki Aki fan now but not for her singing. She can sing as good as a kindergarten kid. But her personality is awesome and her random talks always never cease to make me happy so I’m fine with that.

I like Sphere too thanks to constant poisoning from the devil j1m0ne. Yes I still blame you.

I find myself playing games more frequent than ever. I don’t bother keeping up with news of anime releases or singles releases anymore so there’s no passion to blog like how I did last time about upcoming singles and what not. I will still occasionally update on my twitter account if I so happen stumbled upon release news.

And personally I’m changing directions in my life. Changing jobs, deciding on place to stay, deciding what new things I should venture in and whether or not I should just eat that pack of biscuit in front of me.

But in short, many things have changed compared to when I first started this blog. Hell, when I first started this blog it was like personal rambling blog then it somewhat changed into seiyuu fapping blog. Looking back it’s a great experience still and I appreciate anyone who read every single weird words that I typed. I hope that if one day I start blogging again, you guys will be there to read it.

For better or for worse…

As mentioned in my previous post, I have decided to stop blogging in this site. Partly because I have been largely inactive and I don’t think I will get active anytime soon. However, I have always liked to talk crap whenever I have the chance to. I wish to continue to share my views regarding the games I played, the things I’ve seen or the seiyuu I’ve stalked with everyone without making a new post like once in ….3 months time or so. Hence I’ve decided to collaborate with fellow blogger j1m0ne for a new blog.

The idea came from j1m0ne initially as she wanted to stop her old blog. She invited me to collaborate and since we talked crap so much together, I don’t see the reason not to. Another good reason is that now that I’ve collaborated with her, you fellow readers won’t feel lonely if I went missing for a while since j1m0ne blogs more frequent than I do. So yeah, please do head to the new site in future. This site will still be maintained in case you want to have a laugh at my old posts. Till then. See ya on the other side! (lol)

Hey I have a XIII on my hand too!

Admittably, by the time I write this post…I don’t really remember what happened in Japan (lol). I have bad memory and my laziness of delaying this post for like 3 months is not helping too .

However I’m going to try to make the trip report as brief as I can cause I wanna squeeze in like 7 days worth of crap inside. Hehe. So anway, let’s recap. I went to Chihara Minori’s Fan club event in Yokohama, then Shinjuku for Square Enix goods store and somehow ended up in Kabuki-cho.

On my 3rd day, I went to Akibahara for some CDs shopping and I actually wanted to buy a camera so I was price hunting. It was a miserable weather day. Rained the whole freaking day. So freaking cold. I hate cold wind. Walked around the whole day and got some nice gifts for my family. I got a mug, plushies and some (insert stuff that I don’t remember here) for my sister and mom. Surprisingly I didn’t buy much anime related stuff. For some reason, I just lost the will to buy lately. Oh wait, rather my wallet lost the will mwhuahaha. Went to pepper lunch for…err lunch.

The lunch cost me around 750 yen. Actually I think it’s quite the same price as the pepper lunch in Malaysia but when you see RM30 price tag you don’t feel like eating. (Although after you convert it’s roughly the same).  Then I walked around and bought let’s see…

One Yuki Nagato’s character single “Under Mebius”. Seriously that song freaking made my ear bleed. But I buy it anyway don’t ask me why. Then I bought a copy of Mizuki Nana’s “Mugen”. Got a tokuten yay…though I don’t know where I chuck it already. That’s all I buy I think. Then I did a maid cafe visit. The food suxxors and the price suxxors and they force you to pay 700 yen for entrance fee. (YES! THERE’S A FREAKING ENTRANCE FEE) and you have to freaking get at least a drink or food. The drink cost 500 yen the least hence minimum spendage, 1200 yen and oh you’re only allowed to sit for 1 hour maximum before they push the bill to you indication “goshuujin-sama, please GTFO”. However, the place is quite cozy and I felt like hiding my place when they announced my name + sama when I go in. “Tadaima… xx-sama!”

After the …err dinner or whatever it’s called, I lurked in Akiba for a while more before returning to the hotel. There’s nothing much to be done when the rain poured the whole day.

On Wednesday, we went to Shibuya…or rather walked from Omotesando to Gaienmae to Shibuya. Nothing much to do there. Just lurking around. Had a drink in Starbucks since it’s cold. The view is kinda nice though so I took a picture.

After the coffee break, I went to … a place where I conveniently forgotten the name for dinner. The restaurant name is Yamamoto though. It’s that Ore no hamburg thing that Minorin blogged about. The shop is located in a ridiculously hidden place. By the time I reached there with Danie, the streets are kinda deserted. Makes me want to just make a U-turn and go back. Suddenly, eating 7/11′s box set doesn’t sound bad at all.

Nevertheless, we found the restaurant and the price is awsm for such small servings. Moral of the day, when Minorin says that it’s big and delicious, it’s actually small and not very the delicious. After the dinner, we retreated back to the hotel. It takes quite some time to go back actually since that place is so far.

On Thursday, on Danie’s request, we visited a university. Spent the whole afternoon there since it’s quite far away. The university is near to Yokohama. Then we returned to the hotel roughly about 6pm and rush out again at 6.30pm since we had a dinner appointment with some important friends at 7.20pm. But we epicly got separated at Ueno’s train station whilst changing train (since it was rush hour, Ueno was a big station hence it was really packed) and my phone wasn’t working but I forgot to bring charger and the phone died ha ha ha. I arrived in Shimbashi (the designated place at 7.10pm but I was searching for either Danie or the friends. It was not until 7.40pm when we actually met. My bad my bad. Two friends were already waiting for us and M-san actually went with Danie on train back to Ueno to search for me (although I was actually lurking in Shimbashi since 7.10pm). Luckily I bumped into the other friend S-san and he called them back through M-san. I don’t remember how many times I apologized for the trouble. Ahh…so embarassing..or rather….malu macam sial.

We went to a really nice restaurant in Shimbashi but I forgot the name of the restaurant (again yay). However, it’s a nice high end place and a meal cost at least 4000 yen per person. Around 8.10pm another two friends joined us. Sa-san and O-san. Soon, I was happily chunking down 3 cups of shochu, 3-4 mugs of beers and 3-4 glasses of red wine. I’m kinda surprised I didn’t start singing and dancing on the dinner table with the amount I drank. The bill must be insane since one glass of shochu cost like 1200 yen (and I drank 3), beers cost 700 yen each and a bottle of red wine was 3500 yen. They ordered the red wine since it was M-san’s birthday so we toasted to the occassion (though I drank most of the bottle). I think I ate almost 10k yen myself thanks to my obsession towards alcohol. S-san foot the bill, I should really send him birthday card or new year card or whatever lol. No pictures for the dinner since I didn’t bring my camera and we only took one after the dinner and I don’t think it’s nice to post a personal picture up.

On Friday, we just laze around in the hotel and not going many places because I was still suffer from hangover and Saturday was supposed to be a camping day. We went to Ikebukuro for the planetarium where’s there’s narration and songs from Nana. It’s quite costly around 1200yen. The whole thing was about stars…and the importance of water. For one freaking hour. Danie slept for 55 minutes only waking up on the second Nana song.

That’s right. On Saturday, 21st November 2009, we went to the Mizuki Nana FC event in Tokyo Big Sight. Danie planned to go at around 4-5am but last minute got attacked by stomach ache hence we delayed our plan until 10am. By the time we arrived there, the line for the goods were still long. So we stood until 1pm for the goods. I seriously don’t know how the japanese can wear those jackets when the sun is blaring like mad. I sweat so bad, I took off my jacket and wished I was wearing a short pants instead of jeans. Don’t they feel hot?

In the end I gave up on the line and went in first since I only wanted the T-shirt. Danie helped me with the purchase. The event lasted from 1pm till around 5pm. It was nice to listen to Nana’s Top 10 song and my favorite, Power Gate got 1st so I was seriously otagei-ing to it. Then we left, not before getting the chance to wave to Nana upclose. Nothing special, and I had no idea what to say so I ended up blurting out “Thanks for the show” in English to a confused Nana. Lol. Fail.

Then we met up with R-san and friends again. (They are the ones we met for the Minorin FC too). We went for a nice okonomiyaki dinner and then an overnight karaoke in Akihabara. On our way to Akiba, we stumbled upon a train promoting Macross Frontier’s movie. So I took the chance, whipped out my camera and snapped a picture.

Needless to say, I slept in for Sunday. We went to Shibuya for shopping again. Nothing much but I took the chance to buy a present for my friend Ari and snapped a picture for her fangirlsm XD.

Monday was the last day prior to my departure from Japan. So I’ve decided to complete my trip by going to Tokyo TAWAAAAAAAAAAAAA. We went during the night time. The view is awsm the ticket pricing is not. We have to pay twice. One for the main observatory and another for the special observatory. In the end, I see no much difference view wise and there’s no binoculars or whatever device for you to zoom in the view. So it’s just plain eyes view. Took some pictures but since it’s at night. It’s a little blur.

After 30 minutes of staring at Tokyo’s view, I finally went back. The next day, I stayed in and packed up since my luggage was a big mess. Then we took a train to Narita at 4.00pm since the flight was at 7.30pm. The flight arrived in Singapore at 2.00am and I took another connecting flight back to Kuala Lumpur at 7.00am.

All in all, it was a hectic trip with many weird things happening. Some things I can share with you but some things I cannot. Not that I don’t want to but simply, it’s something where you experienced in life and have no words for it.

So there you have it. My report on my Japan trip is finally completed. I don’t think I will do the otaku part because for one, I’m really occupied with my job right now and two; I’m lazy. Looking back, I’ve already been blogging for 2 years on this blog (first post was on February 2008) and this is probably the longest post I did.

My interests for things came and waned during these 2 years. It started with console gaming to anime then slowly crept into seiyuu to anisongs. Then I went into some seiyuu stalking mode and started stalking Hocchan (Horie Yui, in case you still haven’t get it after 2 years) and Mizuki Nana. Then came Chihara Minori. Lol. Minorin. Lol.

Most of the time I talked about random stuff from my flu, exams to my journey to Los Angeles, US. At that time I was wondering when will I go to Japan. 2 years on and I finally went to Japan. It was a nice trip but I don’t see myself missing the place as much as I anticipated I would. Probably because personally, I’ve moved on to another lifestyle (e.g : shitty working life) and I have bigger priorities now.

Of course, I would continue blogging and crapping about seiyuu stuff once in a while. I thank all the readers out there who actually read through the crap I wrote. Honestly, it gave me an headache reading back my posts. I hope you all will continue to support me whenever I blog. 2 years and it’s been a blast. Here’s a toast from yours truly to everyone.

Minorin PV never looked better…And I epicly nosebleed in my office when I first saw this

It was shocking when Lantis Producer Saito Shigeru tweeted on last Thursday about the release of Minorin’s new upcoming album “Sing All Love”‘s lead song, Final Moratorium PV is up and about in youtube and nico nico douga. Minorin did mentioned about filming for the PV a couple of weeks back in her blog but to be released so early was a pleasant surprise. So I followed the link and watched the full PV of Final Moratorium and hell it nearly spelled the final moments of my life.

So first thing first, the title of the song was Final Moratorium. According to Webster Online dictionary, Moratorium means “1. a legally authorized period of delay in the performance of a legal obligation or the payment of a debt b : a waiting period set by an authority
2 : a suspension of activity”. Lol wut. Erm. So makes sense. Whatver, what matters is the PV hehehe.

This PV is extremely different from Minorin’s previous PVs. For once, her eye contact with the camera got so much better and the way she dances …the way..she dances…*nosebleed*. Compared to her futile efforts of trying to look cool/sexy/hot in PVs like Paradise Lost, Voyager Train; Minorin really hit the point in this PV. Quote kurogane “Are you sure that’s Minorin?It looks like she took a level in Hawt”. Or quote from j1m0ne “8B *laughs insanely*”

So what’s there in this PV that’s worth looking at? I shall try to review it bit by bit. First of all, Minorin’s “jiiiii” power. Compared to previous PV, she really stared at the camera sharply for Final Moratorium. So, if you’re watching it, be prepared …

to see Minorin looking very serious…

and suddenly blast you with a shot from her eyes…

and again…

and again in full close up in case you haven’t die.

This PV also includes alot of dancing movements from Minorin. So at least we get something new from her usual “stand on the spot do nothing” style. So to prove that she has evolved from her Hare Hare Yukai dance…

Of course, she couldn’t simply just dance and stare at the camera for the whole PV. So to add in extra “hawt” sauce into the PV, Minorin decided to…

Being typical Minorin’s PV, she always has two sets of costume to wear…just in case you don’t like mini skirts, frills, jacket and white boots…

After watching this movie I hated myself for:

1) Nosebleeding in my office and freaking my colleagues out (I saw the PV during my office hours)

2) Not being able to attend her Sing All Love concert tour which begins from March April (thanks to j1m0ne for pointing out my borked date) till end of May due to work.

3) Not being able to pounce on Minorin in real life…

I think this PV says it all that why all Minorin fans should buy the Sing All Love album. If she keeps the level of “hawt” at this stage, the whole album is going to be awesome. Besides, the album comes with limited edition DVD and Blu-ray which will include her Summer Camp tour footage.

I’m really good at this being inactive thing. I’m THAT lazy. That and the fact that I’ve started working and 90% of my time I’m stuck with office work or plotting ways to get MC. Unfortunately I kinda lost the will to write due to the hectic schedule. But for some reason and plenty of pestering from j1m0ne, I’ve decided to blog again. Not as frequent as I used to be but I hope to write something to entertain my blog readers …which probably only consist of j1m0ne and j1m0ne alone.

I haven’t been keeping checks with seiyuu news lately due to work too so yeah sorry no weird seiyuu news. The only otaku related thing that I did lately was I went to Japan with Danie. As she had blogged about twice, our 10 days trip consist of normal sight seeing to freaky otaku stalkish moment to some otagei moments. Considering that I’m currently in office and with limited pictures, (danie got most of the pictures), I shall blog about the normal sight seeing part of the trip first.  I think.

Well, to begin with, it was a 10 days 9 nights trip from 15th Nov 2009 – 24th Nov 2009. We went around alot of areas in the Kanto region from Yokohama to Shibuya to Shinjuku to Akiba to erm…I don’t remember. Anyway, I shall try to cover the normal part of the whole 10 days in this post.

We arrived on Sunday morning 15th Nov 2009, after checking into our hotel, we scrambled to Yokohama for the M.S.S (Minori Smile Season) Birthday Live Fanclub Event Vol. 2. ….Okay, maybe not so normal after all…but *cough* moving on. We had previously arranged to meet up with our Japanese friends so we waited at the designated meeting point before going into the venue. And what awesome meeting point we had.

Anyway, we met up around twelve with R-san (name cut short for privacy) and friends. Since it was early and the event only starts around 5pm, they brought us around Yokohama and to have lunch while singing karaoke. Lolwut. So we went into this very nice karaoke place, and we sang and ate until 3pm-ish. I managed to snap a few pictures inside but most of the time I was too occupied laughing and eating pizza.

Since we met up for the Minorin FC event, needless to say, all of them are Minorin fans. During the karaoke session, they gave us some gifts and all of them are somehow..Minorin related. I got a “Summer Camp Live” flag and a box of Pocky with some tirol Choco.

So after the karaoke session we went for the MSS event. I won’t elaborate on it now since this post is supposed to be NORMAL…lol. But after that we went shabu shabu dinner. It’s soooooo nice. Thank you R-san and friends for treating us (yes we didn’t have to pay) the awesome meal. Then we went back, tired, broken and we slept till tomorrow. After all, we didn’t stop since 7am when our flight landed.

The next day was a sight seeing / Sephiroth hunting day. There’s a Square Enix Goods shop somewhere in Shinjuku and I insist on visiting it. So I went there with Danie. We walked to the wrong side of the road and ended up sight seeing from 3pm-6pm. Lol more like walking around clueless.We walked from Shinjuku to Yoyogi and back to Shinjuku. How awesome is that.

But my obsession paid off and soon I found the shop! Turns out we went up and down the whole place instead of walking straight which we will then find the place. But erm…nice view in Shinjuku!

Needless to say I was excited when I found the shop. Not because I was a Square-Enix fan, but because….WE FINALLY FOUND THE PLACE (lol).

It was smaller than I expected but decent to the very least and hey they have a LIFE SIZE SEPHIROTH LYING ON THE SECOND FLOOR’s…um…FLOOR! So I spent like 15 minutes drooling on it.

Um the buggy game?

I bought a few DSi stylus, some Snoopy collections set, one Cactuar plushie and one yellow slime. Unfortunately, I’ve given most of the stuff away. I only kept the Cactuar plushie which is currently lying dormant in my apartment bedroom, stuck beneath my bolster and pillow. But I spent around 4,000 yen inside for all those sourvenirs. After that we went to Japan’s red light district area. Kabuki-cho and we (smirks)…we…did nothing but ate ramen there. Sigh. Fail. We just walked around and got offered many girls and guys…but meh not interested. (Even if I am I don’t think my wallet is XD).

By the time we decided to head back, it’s already 10.30pm. We reached our hotel at around…12.00am. Lazed around abit, bathed and slept. The weather was alright throught out the first two days. Not too cold not too hot. Around 8~14 celcius just the way I like it.  But will the weather stay that way during my whole trip? HAH! YOU WISH!

Alas this post is becoming some novel chapter if I don’t stop now. Turns out I cannot cover 10 days in one post. I’ll try to zoom through the next few days in the next post. If I manage to get myself to blog again. So stay tune for the …erm …second chapter of my fashionably late report of my Nov’09 trip to Japan. Oh god it’s already 2010 and I’m blogging about 2009. I’m awesome.

Yay! I’m a M.S.S member!!!

So after all these while, I am finally an official stalker Minorin Smile Season member. For your information, to apply for MSS or any other seiyuu fanclub membership, you need to have a valid Japan residence address and you need to pay via Loppi Machine, Lawson ticket or Japan post office. So yeah, if you’re not in Japan, don’t ask me how I got my membership.

Anyway, the fanclub process is quite efficient. I paid on Thursday and got my confirmation email on the next Monday. Then they sent my fanclub card (as seen above) together with M.S.S vol 5 and M.S.S vol 6. I seriously didn’t expect them to send the back issue vol 5 to me as it was published somewhere in March / April. You can check the scans and coverage of that via danie’s blog. So yeah, I won’t be covering vol. 5 though the bed hair is awsm.

So let’s check out what’s in vol. 6 of M.S.S. The theme for this volume is Minorin in yukata = default win.

It’s been awhile since I last updated. I thought I died but I didn’t and I subtly remembered that I had a blog lol. So here’s an update after so long. Many things happened for between now and the previous update which made me unable to (or never bothered to) update my blog. So before I fangirl blog about Hocchan’s latest single Yahho!, lemme recap briefly what happened to me (since I’m so narcissistic I like talking about myself).

1) I graduated.

Yes I did! I finally obtained a degree majoring in talking crap and doing nonsense software engineering. Geek. Lol. The convocation was nerve wrecking. I had to wear the robe which somehow threatened to flip open with every single step I took walking to the stage. Wore the hat which somehow kept tilting to the right side of my head and the tassel kept smacking on my face. I had to wear formal clothings and my convocation started at 8am hence I had to be there by 7am like what the hell. I only managed a 2 hours sleep the night before because I epicly forgot to wash my formal clothings until 7 hours before convocation. Thank god it dried up in time. Got a bunch of presents from my housemates, friends and of course family. My sister gave me a present …(I won’t tell what) but it unexpectedly made me bawl like a baby when I opened it. God. I cried like there’s no tomorrow. Luckily I opened the present at home and not at the hall lol.

2) After graduation …now what? Job hunting!

I don’t even know why I did it so fast. My initial plan was to roll around and laze around at home for probably 4-5 months until my mother got sick of the sight of me and kick me out of the house for good. But, I guess the excessive spending on seiyuu stuffs taken its toll on me and I need some source of moolahs if I were to continue buying nosebleed inducing stuff like Hocchan’s new single Yahho! Somehow, I don’t even know how, I applied randomly for a job, answered randomly during an interview and I got the job. Lol. So I was only a NEET for 1 week after my convocation before I started working. Now I joined the likes of danie and j1m0ne in the working world. Yay, we’re gonna be a bunch of grumpy working people. Fun.

So yeah basically I was tied down with my job. The pro of my job is that the working hours are extremely flexible. I start at 10am usually and end at 6pm. I can go lunch anytime I want and my collegues are a fun bunch of people. We actually have badminton sessions on Wednesdays =D. The con of the job is that sometimes it’s really hectic. Flexible but hectic? Weird huh. But that’s how it is. Sometimes I have to run around Kuala Lumpur for meetings and then rush back to my office in Cyberjaya. The worst part is that I have to drive to those meetings or crawl my way through. KL traffic jam is no fun I tell you. No fun and I drive stick.

Anyway, that aside, let’s resume fangirling Hocchan =D. It’s been a while since I blog about Hocchan and this new single just gave me the perfect reason to do so. Yahho! ! is a new single by Hocchan released on the 26th August 2009 and it serves as the ED for the anime Kanamemo! This single’s PV is so nosebleed inducing. Hocchan in cheerleading costume and then she changes to multiple styles of sports outfit such as tennis (kyaa! Smack me with your racquet please Hocchan!), pingpong (smack me again!), lacrose (err…net me?) and golf (PANGYA, HOCCHAN, PANGYA!).

This single is special as the song Yahho! is composed by none other by Hocchan herself. She also penned her own lyrics for this song. Hocchan, a composer and lyricist? I APPROVE! A highly recommended single and you can get them here.

Perhaps I went overboard?

So Danie went to Japan to fulfill her OCND (that’s Obsessive Compulsive Nana Disorder). Taking advantage of her trip, and knowing that she’s coming over to Malaysia for DaiCon after that, I asked her to buy some stuff for me. Then today, she sent me a picture of the stuff she bought for me together with the extras…now suddenly I feel like a stalker.

By the way, thank you Danie for getting all those for me. I love you <3. I know you walked around to get all those extras. But yeah, staring at that pictures kinda creep myself out. I’m slowly developing OCMD (figure it yourself).

Now DaiCon is just roughly 6 days away…I have to decide which one to choose for Minorin to sign. Hmm….decisions, decisions, decisions.

Is this going to be a good one? I don’t know.

Is this going to be a hillarious one? You bet it is.

It all started with one fine day…(yesterday)…when I was just hanging around with nothing to do. J1m0ne suddenly gave me a while idea which I implemented and of course dragging Danie along. What’s is it all about? Hehehe. Tragic stuff.

I’m here to announce that j1m0ne, danie and I have decided to form a blog together! Endorsed by the event DaiCon (which host our chaotic blog), we are now forming a blog called the san bonkurasu (aka 3 bonklers).

Perhaps many will wonder, what’s the blog about…why do we create another blog when we all have our individual blog and what’s the aim or mission. The truth is. There’s nothing to it lol. We just create this blog to bash each other more (as if we haven’t been doing it enough during our gtalk sessions) and basically a prequel to our meeting during the event DaiCon. (Yeah, we’re going to meet up for the first time then).

So we decided to start the blog up. And start introducing ourselves and the rest of the team which ultimately ends up like another bashing session (yet). You can identify the author of the post via our nickname but since we are all admins to the blog…we can easily sabotage each other’s post. He he he he. Which is already evident in the first post.

Anyway, we finally finished up our introductions respectively and decided to open the blog up officially for everyone’s viewing. Again, reading the blog is probably like watching a gag show or something. But anyway, I hope everyone enjoys it while the fun last. My jaw is permanently dropped on the floor…and it’s not because of this picture

Today was my usual torture session. I reckon if I were to attend DaiCon and listen to Minorin’s Q and A session, I should at least try to prevent my ears from bleeding when she randomly squeaked or laughed in extreme high pitch. Therefore I started listening to her radio show, “Minorhythm” to build up my endurance. Today’s Minorhythm is undeniably one of the most epic minorhythm ever. Who woulda guessed…the day Chihara Minori started speaking in ENGLISH.

Yes you heard that right. English. For some reason, she wants to learn English (after not knowing the language for 29 years of her life), and she signed up to an English class with her friends. Apparently the teacher is a ‘gaijin sensei’ (foreign teacher) and it’s a 40 minutes class. Gee. Kinda short if you were to ask me.

Anyway, eager to show off what she learned. She started speaking random English words during the whole radio show. I’ve managed to list down the english words that she said during the whole show. Sorry I cannot cover the whole radio show, I’m still trying to clean up my monitor screen of totally spraying my iced tea onto it when I first heard Minorin speaking in English. So anyway, these are the English words that Minorin spoken and probably understood.

1. My name is Minori Chihara (sounded like mai neim is Minori Chihara).

For one thing, the gaijin sensei is really working wonders here. He/she killed off the bad habit of Japanese pronouncing name as “neimu” and is as “izu”. And hey, they put the last name behind.

2. English~bun (some random words she spilled in between I don’t know what the hell that bun supposed to be though)

3. English school

4. I’m study English..ok? No? (a little grammartical mistake here. the -ing is missing from study but apart from that it’s quite ok…heck even my english is a grammar horror story)

5. One lesson

7. Japanese~English

8. Anima, enema (…she’s trying to pronounce anime…god knows why enema came out)

9. L, M, N

Hmm my suspicion is the gaijin sensei thought them ABC and how to pronounce them correctly. Well she did pronounce L correctly. Not the usual “eru” that we hear. She said that pronouncing L, M and N is hard. English is hard but at the same time she thinks it’s fun.

Apart from the words I’ve listed out, she did mutter a few more random sentences but it was incoherent mumble that I couldn’t make it out so too bad. Generally her pronounciation is quite alright because she spoke slowly which I think it’s a good thing. Why want to try and speak fast when you cannot speak properly? Now I can’t wait to see if she will start speaking English in DaiCon. That is..if she continues attending her English classes. Damn.
